Frames, frameworks, braces
Your advantages at a glance:
- Extremely accurate manufacture of components thanks to in-house high-precision cutting systems, such as laser and waterjet cutters, see Cutting service.
- High precision folding presses with laser scanning improve angular accuracy during the forming process, see Flanged profiles.
- The highest level of manufacturing accuracy is particularly crucial in the case of frames and frameworks. High precision cutting and profile manufacture is essential to achieve the necessary angular accuracy and dimensional tolerance during assembly. Our specialists in joining technology and assembly are happy to advise you.
Our Service
- We can manufacture matching hinges for all frames and frameworks, or incorporate standard purchased hinges.
- As wholesalers and stockists, we also supply anchors and screws, or we can weld on the anchors ready for setting in concrete.
- Our range of surface finish systems; pickling, blasting, grinding, tumbling enable a perfect finish for your product.
- A wide range of forming machines (edging, rounding, bending, embossing etc.) get your components into shape.
- We can manufacture matching claddings and covers (laser or waterjet-cut) and weld them precisely in place.
Performance data
- Profile joins can be mitre-sawn or abutting at right angles.
- Max. unit weight: 5 tonnes
- Sheet thicknesses up to 10 mm and more
- Frames and frameworks in sizes up to 2350 (H) x 2400 (W) x 12000 (L) mm can be transported in normal lorries; sizes up to 2800 (H) x 3000 (W) x 12000 (L) mm can be transported using special trailers and the necessary transport permit.
We need new materials ...
because, unfortunately, the well-known austenitic steels 1.4301, 1.4541, 1.4404, 1.4401, 1.4571, 1.4539, 1.4529 have once again become extremely expensive! This is due to the high nickel content and, in some cases, molybdenum. Both alloying elements are traded on the "London Metal Exchange" (LME). This means that there is a lot of speculation with these metals - without there actually being any market demand.
Speak to our stainless steel experts. We can advise you on alternative materials available on the market and which materials are suitable for corrosion resistance classes I - IV.
Duplex steels are a particularly cost-effective alternative. Not the standard duplex
Mat. 1.4462 but, for example, lean duplex stainless steel materials 1.4062, 1.4482, 1.4162, 1.4362 - or, for high corrosion resistance, super duplex steel 1.4410.
